Twenty Months and Growing

Full of curiousity, discovery, challenges, and personality development. We are full throttle toddlerhood:)

We live for today, because the promise of tomorrow is nothing. We take life as it comes, because we trust the path God has for us. We treasure the unexpected, live from our mistakes, and embrace the gifts of today. I forget all too often that I am setting an example for my daughter, one she takes more notice of than I realize....Wow! I am her Mommy, Friend, and Role Model. Thank you God for this perfect and blessed gift of McKinley. I only wish I could view life from the eyes of a child.

McKinley is growing up....

Lately McKinley is so curious. While it wears me out, she is learning so much through her play. It is exciting to watch. She frequently acts like a monkey as she climbs up and over everything in the house, under tables and chairs, and jumps off the furniture as her grand finale! While I wish she would sit down quietly at times, I love every minute of her energy too. One day I am sure I will miss this! She also is the Queen of 'the look'. Blame it on my gene pool, because I hear tell that she is a mirror of me when I was little. She can shoot the most interesting looks at you in a split second. I just love this little girl! I can't imagine a day without her, life is too fun with McKinley around.

McKinley changes so much every day. We are amazed at how much she is learning. She is beginning to talk as well. Some days she will say a lot of words and tomorrow, she chooses not to. I love her little personality.
